Improved user experience through the establishment and execution of a user-centric product vision for a data storage startup. As the sole UX designer, I spearheaded the UX process, conducting comprehensive user research to gain insights into diverse personas. This research led to the transformation of the founder’s initial concept into a modern and visually compelling application.
Established and managed a design system in Figma and guidelines that ensured design consistency while promoting collaboration within the team. This proactive leadership in design and execution not only enhanced user satisfaction but also contributed to the successful acquisition of numerous new customers.
Conducted a heuristic evaluation of the founder’s original design, uncovering 75 areas for improvement. These were thoroughly addressed in the redesign phase. Additionally, I created new designs for a price estimator feature, enabling the Reseller persona to efficiently convey cost and savings information to potential customers. Feedback from Resellers indicated a significant time reduction during their sales presentations.
Developed a visual dashboard to monitor the status of customer data storage, incorporating an alert system for data center errors. This tool proved valuable for the Service Provider persona, saving multiple hours in error identification and resolution.
Built and maintained a Design System Component Library from the ground up, which features over 25 components and continues to grow. This library includes a cohesive color palette and font collection that aligns with our brand identity and style.
